Post-Christmas Room Overview

I got a good haul for Christmas this year. Not a really big haul, but a good one. My parents got me a Comissioner Gordon from Batman Hush, a BIG 1:6 scale Joker figure from the Dark Knight, a Ralph McQuarrie R2-D2 and C-3PO set from some big Star Wars convention, and an Enterprise-E display piece that rocks...though I guess I should count some more stuff going back here that my parents bought for me while I was sick...Let's see, a Ganthet and Guardian set from Green Lantern, a 'Showcase Prestents...' Superman, and a White EVA Spartan from Halo 3. The first two were from a black-Friday thing at the local comic shop...which is probably where my Dad bought the Enterprise, too, come to think of it.

I actually have been doing a lot of business on eBay, which is why I was able to buy them what gifts I did. I've been doing so insanely rare that I bought myself a couple small gifts for myself, too. A couple figures, an Ultimate Iron Man, a Super-Lois (Yes, SUPER-LOIS! Because I love the story she's from, All-Star Superman), and a high-end IG-88 figure from The Empire Strikes Back because he's awesome. (It helped that my friend who owns the shop gave me a big discount on them as a gift, too.)

A lot of the other new things, like the spattering of small figures and ships that've been added to it are actually some of my old figures I salvaged/recovered from my basement and Christmas ornaments I refound when we were putting up the Christmas trees.

And yes, my room's really geeky, but hey, the first step to recovery's admitting you have a problem...or something.
