What Would Janeway Do? WWJWD?

I love Star Trek, don't get me wrong, but Janeway was incredibly inept. She probably had the highest body count of any of the captains, her crappy decisions got Voyager thrashed countless times (And somehow they ALWAYS got it fixed, despite there being NO Federation bases around for light years and light years.), and she just made horrible decisions all the time, doing the whole 'Uphold the prime directive at ANY cost!' thing...which is stupid. Kirk was smart enough to know when you have to go 'Okay, SCREW the Prime Directive!'

It's a shame. The idea of Voyager was good...other than being a rejected idea from TNG. Now, if instead of having a captain that always makes the 'right' decision (making her CONSTANTLY OOC), you had a captain weathered and tough captain making the HARD but necessary decision, you could have had some cool, actual drama and conflict. I mean, come on, sooner or later, you have to go 'Screw it, we need to go pirate.', you might have gotten back sooner or if you go 'You know what? MY CREW FIRST, everything else second!' like you should, you could have had your ship back in the Alpha Quadrant by the end of the pilot episode. Sure, it would have bad ramifications for the Delta Quadrant, but hey, as a Captain, it's your job to make that decision, Janeway!
